These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Prop Lot Size (the "App"), an iOS application developed by SignalDeck ("SignalDeck", "we", "us", or "our") and distributed via the Apple App Store.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Description of the App
Prop Lot Size is a position-size calculator for prop-firm and forex traders. You enter your account balance, risk, stop distance, and instrument, and the App computes a lot size. When you select a prop firm and account configuration, the App also checks the trade against that configuration's daily-loss and maximum-drawdown limits and shows whether it fits, is close to the limit, or would breach it. The App is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Prop Lot Size is not a financial advisor, broker, or investment adviser. Nothing in the App constitutes financial advice, trading advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument. All trading involves risk. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and their outcomes.
Firm rules are a starting point, not a guarantee. Prop firms change their rules frequently and some let you configure limits at purchase. The App ships researched rule sets with the date they were last reviewed, and lets you enter your own limits, which always take precedence over the bundled values. The App does not guarantee that any bundled rule reflects a firm's current published rules. Always confirm your actual limits with your firm — the App's breach check is only as accurate as the rule set you select or enter.
2. Accounts
The App's Free and Pro tiers require no account and no sign-in — they work entirely offline. The optional Pro+ "Live" tier lets you connect a MetaTrader 5 account through your SignalDeck account to auto-fill your live balance, equity, and drawdown; that tier requires a SignalDeck account and is subject to SignalDeck's platform terms. Your subscription status is managed entirely through your Apple ID via Apple's In-App Purchase system — see our Privacy Policy for what data the App does and does not handle.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Plans
Prop Lot Size offers a free tier (the calculator with a limited set of instruments and firms, one saved account) and optional paid subscriptions: Pro ($8.99/month or $59.99/year) unlocks every instrument and prop firm, unlimited saved accounts, breach warnings, custom firm rules, and trade-card export; Pro+ Live ($14.99/month) adds a live MetaTrader 5 connection through SignalDeck. Current pricing is always shown in the App and in the App Store listing, and may vary by region.
Billing is handled entirely by Apple
All purchases, billing, renewals, and refunds for subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store, not by SignalDeck directly. Your payment method is charged by Apple according to the pricing and billing cycle shown at the time of purchase. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. We do not receive or store your payment information.
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel at any time via Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device, or through the App Store app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's own refund policy — SignalDeck cannot issue refunds directly. See Apple's Request a refund for apps or content you bought from Apple support page.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or bypass its subscription/entitlement checks
- Interfere with or attempt to disrupt SignalDeck's backend services used by the Live tier
- Use the App's bundled data for automated scraping, redistribution, or resale
- Misrepresent your affiliation with SignalDeck or the App
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, sizing and breach-check methodology, and bundled data, is owned by SignalDeck and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our written consent.
6. Firm Rules, Data Sources, and Accuracy
The App's bundled prop-firm rule sets are researched values, each carrying the date they were last reviewed. Prop-firm rules change often; we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Where you enter your own limits, those override the bundled values for that firm. On the Pro+ Live tier, account balance, equity, and drawdown are retrieved from your MetaTrader 5 account through SignalDeck's backend and are subject to the availability and accuracy of that connection; if it is unavailable, the App falls back to your manually entered figures. Calculations are only as accurate as the inputs and rule set you provide.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP OR ITS BREACH CHECK WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR REFLECT ANY FIRM'S CURRENT RULES.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIGNALDECK AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TRADING LOSSES OR A FAILED PROP-FIRM EVALUATION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).
9. Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any of its features at our discretion. Since the Free and Pro tiers do not require an account, "termination" simply means uninstalling the App; any active subscription must be separately cancelled through Apple as described in Section 3.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This section does not limit any consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence, or any rights you have under Apple's own terms as the platform provider.
12. Apple as a Third-Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and SignalDeck only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
