Terms of Service

Effective date: June 21, 2026  ยท  Last updated: June 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SignalDeck website at sgnldk.com and the application at app.sgnldk.com (together, the "Service"), operated by SignalDeck ("SignalDeck", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

SignalDeck is a trading journal and strategy analysis platform that allows traders to record trades, analyze performance metrics (R-Multiple, SQN, Monte Carlo simulation, Walk-Forward Analysis), connect broker accounts for trade synchronization, and collaborate via community features. The Service is provided for informational and journaling purposes only.

SignalDeck is not a financial advisor, broker, or investment adviser. Nothing on or within the Service constitutes financial advice, trading advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument. All trading involves risk. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and their outcomes.

2. Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately via our contact page if you suspect unauthorized account access.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Plans

SignalDeck offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (currently Pro and Team). Paid plan features and pricing are described on the Plans page and are subject to change with notice.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via our payment processor (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are in USD and are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date.

Free Trial

We may offer free trial periods. At the end of a trial, your subscription will automatically convert to the selected paid plan unless you cancel before the trial expires.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all trading data, journal entries, and other content you submit to the Service ("User Data"). You grant SignalDeck a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Data solely to provide and improve the Service.

We will not sell your User Data to third parties or use it for purposes unrelated to operating the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, algorithms, analytics methodologies, and content (excluding User Data), is owned by SignalDeck and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, or reverse engineer any component, without our written consent.

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., MT4/MT5 brokers, SnapTrade, cTrader, Interactive Brokers). Your use of those integrations is subject to the applicable third-party terms of service. SignalDeck is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of any third-party service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

BACKTESTING AND PERFORMANCE ANALYTICS PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE ARE BASED ON HISTORICAL DATA AND DO NOT GUARANTEE FUTURE RESULTS. PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT INDICATIVE OF FUTURE PERFORMANCE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIGNALDECK AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SignalDeck and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Data, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active users via email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
