SignalDeck ("SignalDeck", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website at sgnldk.com and the application at app.sgnldk.com (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register for an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you sign up via Google OAuth we receive your name and email address from Google.
Trading Data You Provide
The core purpose of SignalDeck is to help you record and analyze your trades. Data you enter or import — including trade records, journal entries, strategy configurations, post-mortem notes, and account balances — is stored on our servers and is yours. We do not sell this data.
Broker Connection Data
If you connect a broker account (e.g., via MT4/MT5 import or other integrations), we store the OAuth tokens and connection metadata required to sync your trade history. These credentials are encrypted at rest and used solely to retrieve your trade data on your behalf.
Usage and Analytics Data
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how users interact with the marketing site. GA4 collects anonymized data including pages visited, session duration, general geographic region, and device type. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Log and Technical Data
Our servers automatically collect standard log data when you access the Service, including IP address, browser type, referring URLs, and timestamps. This data is used for security monitoring and debugging and is not shared with third parties except as described below.

3. Third-Party Services
We use a limited set of third-party services to operate the platform:
- Google Analytics — anonymized marketing site analytics
- Stripe — payment processing for paid plans; we do not store card numbers
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure and data storage; data is stored in US-based regions
- Mailjet — transactional email delivery
- MetaAPI / broker integration providers — used to sync trade data from MT4/MT5 accounts at your direction
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each provider to perform its function.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and trade records within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate security purposes (e.g., fraud prevention logs).
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive credentials, hashed passwords, and access controls limiting who on our team can view user data. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected
- Deletion — request that your account and associated data be deleted
- Portability — request an export of your trading data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to certain processing activities

7. Cookies
The marketing site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to distinguish unique sessions. The application uses session cookies for authentication. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active users via email. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
