This page lists every privacy control available to you in Market Posture, and exactly how to use each one. It exists because a privacy policy that only describes what happens is not much use without the switches.
Start here: Market Posture has no account and collects no personal information about you. We hold no profile to show you, correct, or delete. Everything below is therefore either a device-level control, an Apple control, or a Google control — and we have pointed you at each one directly rather than asking you to email us for something you can change in ten seconds.
Turn off advertising entirely
Advertising runs on the Free tier only. Any Pro subscription removes ads completely — no banner is requested, and the ad SDK makes no network call at all. Open the App and tap Settings → Upgrade to Pro, or use the upgrade prompt on the main screen.
If you would rather not subscribe, the two controls below reduce what ad serving can process, and deleting the App stops it entirely.
Change your ad consent choice (EEA / UK)
If you are in the EEA or the UK, Google's User Messaging Platform presented a consent form the first time you opened the App. To review or change that choice, delete and reinstall the App — the consent form will be presented again on first launch. We are looking at surfacing a "Manage ad consent" button directly in Settings in a future release so this is not necessary.
Limit ad tracking at the iOS level
Market Posture already requests non-personalized ads only, never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission, and never reads your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). There is no cross-app tracking to switch off, because we never switched it on.
If you want to apply the same restriction system-wide across every app on your device, iOS provides two settings:
- Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking — turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track". Market Posture never makes that request in the first place.
- Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising — turn off "Personalized Ads" to limit Apple's own ad personalization.
To manage the data Google's ad serving may process independently of us, use Google's own Privacy Checkup and Ad Settings.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
There is nothing to opt out of. SignalDeck does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and comparable state privacy laws. We do not run personalized advertising, we do not operate a data-broker relationship, and we hold no personal profile of you to trade.
No request is needed to give effect to this — it is how the App is built, not a setting we apply on request. If you would like written confirmation for your own records, contact us via the support page.
Notifications
Alerts are scheduled on your device and require your explicit permission, which the App requests only when you enable your first alert. To change it:
- In the App: Settings → Alerts — turn individual alert types off, or set quiet hours.
- In iOS: Settings → Notifications → Market Posture — turn notifications off entirely.
Manage or cancel your subscription
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple; we cannot start, change, or cancel one on your behalf, and we have no visibility into your Apple ID.
- On your device: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Market Posture.
- Or open apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- For a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page — refunds are Apple's decision, not ours.
Delete your data
Everything Market Posture stores is on your device: the cached market reading, cached regime history, your alert settings, and a record of which alerts have already fired. Deleting the App deletes all of it.
There is no server-side account to close, because there is no account. The proof-of-subscription token described in Section 3 of our Privacy Policy is verified and discarded; it is not retained as a record of you.
Ask us anything else
If you have a privacy request this page does not cover — including any right you are entitled to under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or another privacy law — reach us via our support page or our general contact page. We will respond even where the honest answer is "we do not hold anything to give you."
