No account · No tracking · No IDFA

Market Posture ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is an iOS app developed by SignalDeck. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App does and does not collect.

The short version: Market Posture has no account, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking SDKs of our own. The market reading it shows is identical for every user — there is nothing personalised about it, so there is nothing personal for the App to send. Two things do leave your device, both described in full below: a proof-of-subscription token when you use a Pro-only feature (Section 3), and, on the Free tier only, a non-personalized banner ad request (Section 4). Pro subscribers never see ads.

1. Information We Collect Directly

None. Market Posture has no account system, no user-generated content, no watchlist synced to a server, and no analytics or tracking SDKs of our own embedded in the App. We do not know who you are, and we have no way to identify an individual user from anything the App itself does.

2. Network Access

The App makes network requests to the following, and only the following, destinations:

As with any internet request, our server necessarily receives the connecting IP address in order to send a response. We do not use it to build a profile, and it is not joined to any subscription or advertising identifier.

3. Proof of Subscription (Pro Features)

Two Pro features — the live premarket reading and the regime history — are verified on our server rather than only inside the App. When you use one, the App sends Apple's cryptographically signed record of your subscription to SignalDeck's API so we can confirm the subscription is genuine and current.

This exists so that the paid data tier is actually protected. Checking a subscription only inside the App would mean anyone inspecting network traffic could take the paid feed for free.

4. Advertising (Free Tier Only)

Free-tier users see a small banner ad at the bottom of the main screen, served by Google AdMob. Pro subscribers never see ads — this is one of Pro's benefits. A few specific commitments about how this works:

5. Local Notifications

If you enable Pro alerts, the App checks for a regime change during a background refresh and posts the notification entirely on-device using Apple's local notification framework. There is no push server, no device token is registered with us, and no notification content or schedule is sent anywhere. Notification permission is requested only when you switch on your first alert, never at launch.

6. Local Storage

The App stores the following on your device, and nowhere else:

None of this leaves your device or is accessible to us. Deleting the App removes all of it.

7. Third-Party Services

Beyond the network destinations listed in Section 2 and Google AdMob/UMP (Section 4), the App does not integrate any third-party SDK — no analytics, no crash reporting, no social login, no attribution SDK.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+. We collect no personal information from any user regardless of age, and ads are always requested non-personalized with no age signal sent — AdMob is configured accordingly. The App is not directed at children and contains no features (chat, social, user-generated content) relevant to child safety.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Because Market Posture collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or export on your behalf. For the specific controls available to you — removing ads, revisiting your EEA/UK consent choice, limiting ad tracking at the iOS level, and managing or cancelling your subscription — see our Privacy Choices page.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and comparable state laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's data practices change — for example, if a future version adds an optional account system or additional ad mediation networks. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, note it in the App Store "What's New" notes.
