The Role
SignalDeck is a professional trading journal built for prop firm traders — the people grinding FTMO and Apex challenges, managing funded accounts, and building real audiences on X. We just crossed a milestone: the product works, users love it, and it's time to build the brand ambassador program that compounds our growth.
We need one person who's chronically online in the right way — who can move through X/Twitter like a native, profile prop firm creators with precision, and deliver a list that our team can actually use. You won't be cold-calling anyone. You're doing the intelligence work that makes the outreach land.

One clear outcome. No vague "support the team" nonsense — you own this list.
Brand ambassadors are prop firm coaches, funded traders, and trading educators on X/Twitter with real audiences (1k–100k followers) who can refer their students and followers to SignalDeck. Each BA who converts generates $5 per student referral in perpetuity. Your research is the on-ramp to that revenue.
What You'll Be Doing
- Search and Discover: Navigate X/Twitter to find prop firm coaches, funded traders, and trading educators whose content aligns with our ICP — prop firm challenge content, funded account journeys, trading education. Target range: 1k–100k followers, real engagement.
- Vet for Authenticity: Separate the real operators from the inflated accounts. Check engagement rates, comment quality, follower growth patterns. If it smells bought, it gets flagged.
- Profile Each Candidate: Fill our research sheet with the intel we need: handle, follower count, avg engagement rate, content niche (FTMO? Funded? Forex? Futures?), audience geography (UK, Nigeria, Eastern Europe?), DM availability, contact method.
- Build the Shortlist: Flag your top-50 picks with a one-line "why" for each — what makes this person a fit for a SignalDeck partnership.
- Expand if Bandwidth Allows: Cross-reference with YouTube and LinkedIn. A creator with a presence on two platforms is worth twice as much as one who's only on X.
- Quality-Control Your Own Work: Before you hand off, audit the list. Remove anyone who doesn't genuinely fit, add notes on reach-out timing, flag any creators who've mentioned competing products.
Who You Are
- Chronically Online (The Right Way): You know what prop firm trading is. You recognize FTMO, Apex Trader, and My Forex Funds. You've probably seen funded trader content on your timeline already. If not, you can get up to speed in 20 minutes and are willing to.
- Spot a Fake Instantly: 50k followers, 3 likes per post, comments that say "Great content bro 🔥🔥" — you can smell it. Fake engagement is the #1 thing that ruins a BA pipeline.
- Methodical at Scale: You can hold a consistent research framework across 100+ profiles without your quality slipping at profile 80. You're the kind of person who color-codes their spreadsheets.
- Self-Directed: You receive a brief and execute. You don't need daily check-ins. You surface blockers when they actually come up, not to fill meeting time.
- Bonus — You Trade or Follow the Space: Active prop firm trader, funded account holder, or regular consumer of trading educator content on X? You'll produce a better list than anyone else we could hire.

Compensation & Term
Commission structure details are discussed at the offer stage. The short version: if your list generates deals, you get a percentage of the revenue those deals produce for six months.
