Forex Trading Associate
The Role
If you want to learn to trade forex properly, and you have never been able to find real structure to do it in — this is that structure.
Most people trying to learn forex do it alone, off YouTube, with no fixed routine, nobody reviewing their work, and no record of what they actually did. They quit in month two with nothing to show for it. That is the normal outcome, and it is not a discipline problem. It is a structure problem.
This role is twelve weeks of the structure: one strategy, taught properly by an established trading community whose material we have vetted; a fixed daily session you show up to; every trade journalled; and a weekly call with SignalDeck's founder, who reads your journal before you speak. You will not trade real money — not once, not at the end, not "if you do well." Everything is on a demo account. You are not risking capital and you are not being asked to bring any.
What You Will Do
- Learn One Strategy Until You Can Teach It: You work through the community's material until you can state the setup, the entry trigger, the stop placement, and what invalidates the trade — in a single paragraph, from memory.
- Trade One Fixed Session, On Demo: One hour of news prep, then the first two hours of the New York session — 07:00 to 10:00 ET, every weekday. Three pairs only: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/CAD. Nothing else. The constraint is the point.
- Journal Every Single Trade: Entry, stop, target, screenshot, and a post-mortem on every close, logged in SignalDeck. Every trade, no gaps — including the bad ones, especially the bad ones.
- Write About It Publicly As It Happens: A weekly review on LinkedIn and X — what your own numbers told you, what you got wrong, what you changed. Twelve weeks of a real, dated, verifiable record of someone becoming systematic.
- Tell Us What Is Broken: You will be the only person using SignalDeck as a genuine beginner. Your confusion is data we cannot get anywhere else. It is a real deliverable, not a courtesy.
What You Get
- Structured Training: Twelve weeks in a real strategy, with someone reviewing your work every week.
- A Comped SignalDeck Elite Account: Full analytics surface, for the whole term.
- A Demo Broker Account: Set up for you before day one.
- A Real Title: Forex Trading Associate at SignalDeck, associated with our LinkedIn company page. It is genuine employment history and a real part of what you are being paid in.
- A Body of Public Work: Twelve weeks of writing under your own name that exists whether or not the trading goes well.
- A Reference: From the founder, on request, regardless of how it turns out.
- First Refusal: On the paid version of this role, if and when SignalDeck can fund it.
What This Is Not
Read this back to yourself before applying. The people who skip it are the people who leave in week six.
- It is unpaid. No stipend, no equity, no revenue share, no expenses.
- There is no guaranteed paid role at the end. The founder's stated intent is to hire when SignalDeck has paying users. Treat that as intent, not a promise.
- It will not make you money. Demo accounts do not pay out. Nothing here leads to a funded account or to trading capital.
- It is twelve weeks in full, not a trial. You will sign a short pledge to the whole term before you start. It is not a legal contract and there is no penalty — it exists because this work gets boring in the middle, and writing your name under something is most of what makes people finish.
- The hours are fixed, and they may be inconvenient where you live. 07:00–10:00 ET is the session. Work out what that is locally before you apply, not after.
- You will never give trading advice, signals, or calls. Not in week one and not in week twelve. That is a permanent condition of the role, not a beginner restriction.
Who You Are
- A Beginner — Genuinely: No trading experience is required and none is expected. We are not looking for someone who already trades. A beginner learning in the open is the entire point.
- Actually Available: 20 hours a week for twelve consecutive weeks, and the 07:00–10:00 ET window works in your timezone without wrecking your life.
- Able To Write Honestly: You can write clearly in English about something that went badly, without spinning it.
- A Finisher: You finish things after they stop being interesting. This is the one that actually predicts who makes it to week twelve.
- Pointed Somewhere: You are aiming at something this genuinely builds toward — trading, markets, FinTech, product, or research — rather than looking for a credential.
Who This Is Not For
- Anyone looking for signals, calls, or someone to tell them what to buy.
- Anyone who wants to trade real money soon.
- Anyone who needs the work to pay. If anything in your situation depends on this paying, please do not apply — it would be unfair to you.
- Anyone who would not be comfortable publicly associated with SignalDeck. You carry the title openly on LinkedIn. That is by design, it is disclosed, and it is never hidden from anyone.
About SignalDeck
SignalDeck is a trading journal built for people who want a repeatable process rather than a hot streak — broker import, behavioural tagging, and the analytics to tell you which of your habits is actually costing you money. It is built and live. This role exists because the best evidence a journal works is someone visibly using one to get better, in public, over months.
